San Pedro BrewHaHa

Ray Buffer & Mark Tomaino Present:

San Pedro BrewHaHa Comedy and Beer Festival

A series of live comedy events followed by classic, sure-fire comedy films. One hour of stand up comedy from comedians of yesterday, today and tomorrow is followed by screenings of some of the funniest movies ever made - combined with an expanded selection of libations at the concession stand - you are set for a night of side-splitting joy.

San Pedro BrewHaHa is a new Comedy and Beer Festival produced by Ray Buffer and Mark Tomaino, happening in November from the 6th to the 22nd at Warner Grand Theatre in the historic waterfront and arts district of downtown San Pedro – the Port Town of Los Angeles. San Pedro BrewHaHa is a one-of-a-kind event that brings together great comedic acts, an expanded selection of beers and libations, plus outstanding, favorite, comedy films from yesterday and today!

The festival begins November 6 for three weekends – and each night features a different film and a diverse line-up of comedians. So forget about your woes, turn that frown upside down and step into the beautiful, historic “castle of dreams” that is the Warner Grand Theatre as it is transformed into a cathedral of laughter for this new entertainment experience.

Admission includes 1 hour of live, stand-up comedy beginning at 8PM on Fridays and Saturdays or 2:30PM on Sundays; a hilarious movie to follow (see listing below); a small beer or soda to wet your whistle. Admission is just $20 for adults, $15 for Seniors 55+ and Students, and $5 for the 18 & under crowd. Age verification will take place and only those verified will be served alcohol. For a complete line-up of comedians (subject to change) visit www.therelevantstage.com. Note that Saturday, Nov 21 is an expanded Stand Up Comic night with no movie screened. Some films are rated R, and some comedians will be as well – so parental discretion is advised.

Sean Green, and Jason Canning

Friday - Nov. 6 - Stand Up 8-9 P.M.
[PG] The Princess Bride (1987) 9:15 P.M.
Sean Green
image: Headshot of Sean Green A Bethlehem, PA native Sean Green has brought his East Coast sensibilities to the Los Angeles comedy scene. Known for his brazenly honest storytelling, Sean isn’t afraid to share the hilarious episodes that perpetuate his personal life. An open book policy also applies to Sean’s educated acerbic takes on current events in the world. Sean is a founding member of Los Angeles’ hottest underground comedy club ‘The Comedy Garage’ and a regular at the Improv Olympic and 3 Clubs. Besides his work as a standup and emcee, Sean hosts a weekly talk show broadcast live on LaTalkradio.com called ‘The Green Room’. Sean’s other projects include programs on livevideo.com, National Lampoon Radio, Comedy Nation and Spike.
Jason Canning
image: Headshot of Jason Canning In 1999 Jason’s face was immortalized as the whacky, Jim Carrey like “Mr. Paramount”, the face of the Paramount Comedy Channel. He soon became a popular personality on British television hosting on the BBC, Disney Channel ITV and even performing at London’s Royal Albert Hall in front of an audience of 5000. Then came the biggest upset in Canning family history… Jason moved to LA! The minute the ink dried on his green card Jason got to work, starting at E! Entertainment narrating their long running movie review show, Extreme Close-Up and spilling the celebrity gossip on Gone Bad. Upon setting foot on the new continent Jason brought his fish out of water tales of life in America to the comedy stage and embarked on his life-long dream of becoming a stand-up comic. From years of hitting stages big & small across the country Jason’s clean comedy has a wide appeal and can only be described as what would happen if you crossed Jim Carrey with Hugh Grant, hilarious & polite! Jason never holds back on stage and feels life has come full circle now where cracking up a room full of people only brings him more work instead of detention! Teaming up with fellow Brit comic Natalie Gray (appearing at San Pedro BrewHaHa November 7 and 8) they wrote and starred in a half hour comedy pilot called No Talent Required. Check out the trailer on Youtube.
